Before the Surgery

As a sportswear model, I’ve always been conscious of my facial features, especially the more masculine structure of my face. I have monolids, which I know many people find unique and charming, so I never wanted to change that. But overall, my face felt wide and lacked the softness I wished for—it made me look more masculine than I wanted. I also wasn’t happy with a previous nose surgery I had done elsewhere. The tip of my nose had dropped, and my side profile just didn’t look how I imagined. I longed for a softer, more feminine nose line with a gentle curve. After a detailed consultation with Dr. Jeong, I felt reassured. He really took the time to understand the aesthetic I was aiming for—both in my facial contours and my nose. He even assured me that he would keep the uniqueness of my monolids while enhancing their charm, which helped put me at ease.
After 1 Week

The first 2–3 days post-surgery were tough. Breathing was difficult, my face was swollen, and I couldn’t even open my mouth properly—it was just uncomfortable all around. Seeing my face so puffy made me question whether the surgery had gone well. But by the end of the first week, the swelling had gone down significantly, and my worries started to ease. Now, I’m focusing on helping the rest of the swelling go down. I go for daily walks, eat well, take care of my health, and apply my ointments regularly and on time.

Now that most of the swelling has subsided, I can clearly see my softer facial contour and the new shape of my nose. The change is amazing—it feels like I’ve stepped into a new version of myself. I’m getting excited about the idea of doing new photoshoots. I’ve always wanted to try soft, feminine concept shoots, but I didn’t feel like I could fully pull them off before. Now, I feel like those styles are totally within reach, and I’m ready to explore more diverse roles. I’m even planning to try beauty-focused shoots next!

So many people around me have been telling me how much prettier I look now—it’s been so encouraging. I’ve tried new shoot concepts, and every time I see the results, I’m more convinced that I made the right decision. Of course, it’s great that my complex has been resolved, but what’s even more exciting is that this has opened up new opportunities in my career. I truly feel that this surgery has helped expand my horizons. If anyone out there is struggling with similar concerns, I strongly recommend doing thorough research and finding a surgeon who truly listens to you and understands your needs. My first nose surgery at a different clinic left me feeling unsure—maybe there was miscommunication or just a mismatch in aesthetic sensibilities. But with Dr. Jeong at DL, everything finally felt aligned. Now, I genuinely feel more beautiful every single day—and I’m so satisfied with the result.

These days, my friends keep telling me I’m in my “peak era”—and during photoshoots, I get so many more compliments than I used to. That’s really boosted my confidence. I had some doubts when I first decided to get facial contouring, and even right after the surgery when the swelling was still bad, I questioned if I had made the right choice. But now, all those worries have completely disappeared. I’m not just satisfied—I’m 100%… no, 10,000% satisfied! Of course, finding a skilled and experienced doctor who understands exactly what you want is so important for both safety and results. But if you’re someone who’s constantly bothered by a certain complex, I think surgery can be a way to take back your confidence and live each day with more ease and joy. It truly changed my life for the better.
