A Youthful Transformation – Part 2

|✨ Consultation Highlights

The patient previously underwent rhinoplasty at a another clinic to address concerns about a droopy nose (also known as a “hawk nose”) and dorsal hump. However, the outcome did not meet her expectations. In fact, the tip appeared even more droopy, especially when smiling, making the hawk-like appearance more pronounced. She hoped to correct this and reduce the width of her nostrils for a more refined look.

For facial contouring, her goal was to slim the width of the cheekbones while maintaining volume in the front cheeks. She desired an overall slimmer facial line but also showed signs of sagging in the face and neck, which required lifting procedures for noticeable improvement.

|🩺 Surgical Plan

Autologous rib cartilage was used to build solid support at the tip to give it a strong truss, preventing future drooping and a silicone implant was used to raise the bridge for a more defined shape. The dorsal hump, which had not been properly addressed in her previous surgery, was corrected to create a smooth nose line. Alar base reduction was performed to keep the nostrils from flaring too much when smiling.

As the patient was missing two lower right molars and one upper left molar, a full V-line jaw contouring was not recommended. Instead, Dr. Jeong focused on reducing the width of the square jaw.
For the zygoma (cheekbone) reduction, he narrowed the outer width while subtly adjusting the 45-degree area to maintain balance and harmony.

For lifting, both a face and neck SMAS lift were performed. In addition, liposuction around the bulky jawline and fat grafting to sunken areas helped enhance facial definition and achieve a more youthful, lifted appearance.
