Before the Surgery

When I first got my rhinoplasty, the doctor used autologous rib cartilage. The shape looked okay in the beginning, but it got crooked as time passed so I had to get a revision surgery after 1 year. The 2^nd time, the doctor used donor rib cartilage and ear cartilage. It’s been 1 and a half years, and I’m not satisfied with the shape at all. I wish to have a higher nose tip so it’s obvious that I have a high nose. I also wanted to get facial contouring surgery, as my face is asymmetric. The left side of my face is bigger, and I look uglier from the left side.  I want to improve my round-ish face to become more sophisticated looking. I really wish that this rhinoplasty revision will be the VERY LAST TIME in my life. I went to famous hospitals before, but I was so let down from the experiences. I’m looking forward to see the results from DL!!!

Day 2

I got my nose cotton filling out today, and it felt so much better! I really like the new nose shape, although I still have the splint on. The line is so much better than my previous nose line. I was surprised that I didn’t have as much swelling from the surgery compared to previous times. I’m guessing it’s because DL’s doctor is more skilled? I have a good feeling this will be my last nose surgery! Finally! I’m happy and hopeful that I will be free from all the worries and dissatisfaction about my nose shape!

Week 2

I’m so surprised that most of the swelling is gone! I got deswelling treatment every time I went to DL. I love how my nose turned out! My previous nose used to look like Squidward’s, but now it looks like Barbie’s! It actually turned out much prettier than I expected. Since I was let down by my previous experiences, I wasn’t expecting so much! I’m glad I chose DL Plastic Surgery~~

1 Month

It’s been difficult to open my mouth after the surgery, but now I can open it wide enough to fit two fingers. I’m happy to hear from everyone that my face looks so much smaller! I’m getting more and more used to my new self and enjoying everyday life as my transformed self.

2 Months

I really like my nose line, and my facial contours are so smooth that I almost look like a filtered or photoshopped version of myself when I look in the mirror! It’s exactly how I wanted it. I’m so glad I finally found a plastic surgery hospital that I’m fully satisfied with!

3 Months

In the beginning, I was a little shy about getting compliments on how pretty I am, but I’m getting more and more used to it! I feel much more comfortable with my look, and I’m more confident! I love my Barbie nose and my profile line :3. My profile used to be a big insecurity before the surgery, but now I want to show it off! I even turn my face around and pretend I’m looking around, even when I don’t need to, haha. I’m so happy I found the right hospital, got the surgery done, and achieved the results I was longing for. It really brightens my days. Thanks to Dr. Jeong and the DL Plastic Surgery family ❤
