Before the Surgery

I wasn’t happy with how my columella hung lower than my nose line, and I also felt my eyes looked a bit short from the side and were asymmetrical. I wanted a more defined facial contour, especially by slimming down my chin. Since my main concern was my nose and columella, I searched for clinics that specialized in rhinoplasty. After consulting with a few doctors, I decided to go with DL Plastic Surgery. My first impression of the clinic was very positive—the doctor was kind and made me feel comfortable throughout the consultation. I wasn’t familiar with the surgical details, but the doctor gave a thorough explanation of the procedure. He came across as very professional, and after doing my research, I learned he had a strong reputation from his previous work, which reassured me even more. It was also great that the doctor explained what materials would be used for my rhinoplasty. Overall, I’m really excited to see the results and look forward to an enhanced version of myself!

Day 3

On the day of the surgery, I was feeling a little nervous, but all the staff at DL were so kind and caring throughout the surgery preparation, it made me feel more comfortable. When I lay down on the surgery bed, I could feel my heartbeat was faster, but as the staff and the doctor told me about the anesthesia process and told me not to worry, I felt more at ease as I felt like I was in good hands. Right after the surgery, I was quite nauseous from the anesthesia, and since my nose was packed with cotton, I could only breathe through my mouth. Although I had swelling, I could see a huge improvement on my columella! I was so happy to finally get rid of the hanging columella J The nurses were incredibly attentive and took great care of me whenever I was feeling unwell. On Day 3, I still have swelling on my face so I’m very excited to see the final results once the swelling goes down!

Week 1

It’s already been a week since my surgery. I went back to DL Plastic Surgery to get my stitches removed. Every time I went in for a check-up, the doctor personally asked how I was feeling and if I had any discomfort. I really appreciate his genuine care and how attentive the staff at DL is. During my visit, I had some oxygen & anion mist therapy, and LED laser treatment, and I felt more refreshed afterward. The doctor said I’m healing well and that the swelling should go down a lot in about a week. I’m looking forward to seeing the progress next week!

Week 2

It’s already been two weeks since my surgery, and my eyes and nose have healed so well that the surgery marks are hardly noticeable unless you look really closely. Before my surgery, I read reviews emphasizing the importance of the doctor’s stitching skills, and now I see why—DL’s doctor did an excellent job with the stitching! Even though most of the swelling is gone, they still gave me a deswelling laser treatment. I’m thrilled with the results and love doing my eye makeup now that my eyes look so much prettier!

1 Month

Time flies! It’s been a month since the surgery, and my chin line turned out exactly as I hoped. I really love how sleek it looks from the side and how great it looks in profile pictures. I’ve felt no discomfort, and all my friends say this new look suits me perfectly. I’m very satisfied with my decision and so grateful to have met the right doctor and the incredibly kind nurses and staff at DL!

3 Months

It’s now been three months since my surgery at DL Plastic Surgery, and time has flown by! The scar is completely gone, and there are no signs of swelling or marks from the surgery. My eyes look much larger and natural! My nose turned out exactly as I had imagined it—before the surgery, I used to push up my columella with my finger to see what it would look like without the hanging columella—and my chin line now looks much slimmer! I’m really happy I chose DL. Thanks to myself for making such a great decision! 😂 Of course, I’m so so grateful to Dr. Jeong Jinwook and all the DL staff!!
