Blair’s Real Story

Before the Surgery

My cheekbones are quite pronounced on the sides and front, so I feel a lot of stress when taking photos or when I have bangs, as it accentuates my cheekbones even more. To hide my prominent cheekbones, I usually style my hair to cover the sides. I’m also not happy with my nose because it has a slight downward appearance, so I tried a thread lift procedure to improve it. The procedure, which involves using fillers to pull and lift, didn’t last long and left me feeling like there were foreign objects in my nose. That’s why I’ve decided to opt for permanent surgery. As for my eyes, they seem a bit short both in the front and back, so I think it would be nice to have larger, more defined eyes.

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

I underwent multiple surgeries at once, and I’m guessing that’s why I felt dizzy for the three days in a row. I wasn’t familiar with my swollen face. I also had headaches, and it was hard to eat due to the swelling and the stitches inside my mouth. Since my condition was bad and I was constantly tired, I had no appetite, so I relied on the nutritional drinks that DL provided after the surgery and ate mostly watery soup. Even though I haven’t removed the nose splint yet, I really like the shape of my nose.

Week 1

After having my nose splint removed and the stitches taken out, it’s much easier to breathe now! I was a bit scared because I’d read quite a few reviews saying it was painful to remove the stitches and cotton inside the nose. So I visited the clinic to check the situation, and I was really happy because they removed everything without any pain. I felt like the doctor was very meticulous and careful, which made me satisfied. Every time I go to the clinic, I’m always struck by how friendly the staff are, making each visit a pleasant experience. I can’t wait for the bruising and swelling around my eyes to go away soon.

Week 2

I feel like the major swelling has gone down now. Every time I went to the clinic for a follow-up, I received swelling treatments. The post-surgery aftercare seemed very well organized. As the swelling in my nose decreases, the side profile is becoming more defined, which I’m really pleased with. It seems like the stitches inside my mouth have all dissolved now. I can feel the swelling reducing day by day. Before, I was worried about my nose tilting, so I had the compulsion to sleep straight at night, which would wake me up from worry. But now, I’m able to sleep more comfortably at night.

Week 3

It’s now the third week! Initially, I had headaches, but they’ve decreased a lot. I really like how the side profile smoothly transitions from my forehead to my nose.

1 Month

There’s still some minor swelling, but compared to the beginning, it has improved a lot. The swelling in my nose, in particular, has gone down significantly. My mouth can now open wide enough to fit two fingers vertically. The doctor told me that I need to practice opening my mouth, so I’ve started doing that gently. Now that I’ve recovered quite a bit, I’ve started meeting my friends again and resuming my daily life.

2 Months

Now that the swelling has almost completely subsided and I’m back to my daily life with my new look, a lot of people around me are telling me I’ve become prettier. It feels like I’m being rewarded for the difficult times after the surgery. As the swelling decreases and I see how good I look, I find myself wanting to capture my appearance more often, so I take photos frequently and look in the mirror more than before.

3 Months

It’s hard to believe that it’s already been three months. I can wear makeup again now, and since the swelling has decreased significantly, I’m more dedicated to taking care of my skin to maintain my appearance. I really love how my eyes look sharp and big, and how my once-flat nose has become much more defined. I’m also very pleased with how my side profile has improved, with a smooth transition from my forehead to my nose, mouth, and chin. I’ve lost some weight too, and my boyfriend keeps telling me I look beautiful. Whether it’s due to the changes in my appearance or the recovery process, I feel more confident now, and I no longer make a desperate effort to cover my face with my hair when the wind blows. I spent a lot of time worrying before the surgery, but now I truly feel that getting it was a great decision.
